Tim's view on god:
The Tebow family is very religious. Attending Church twice weekly and bringing god into every school lesson they learn't. All of the children accepted god into their lives and hearts when they were young, however there father took them through a test to make sure they knew they were ready for the acceptance. To show how much they believe and know that god has a set plan for them when Tims mother was pregnant with Tim the doctors told her that it would be best to terminate her pregnancy if she wished to live through it, however knowing that she was pregnant for a reason she kept the child and in doing so ended up creating a great kid. God made sure that Tim and his mother lived through the pregnancy and it turned out for the best in the end.
The story of how Tim was born touched me deeply. I am Pro-Life and this goes to show how if you don't terminate a pregnancy the child can grow up to live a full life and affect many other people too. I have never been one to practice a religion, I believe in god, but I do not practice it. Reading through this book I learn't a lot and just how much religion means to some people. They would pray for health and they always believed that whatever happened either good or bad was for a reason and they just had to live through it one day at a time and understand that something good or a lesson was going to come out of it. I loved the optimism that emanated from this family. I truly believe you can't live a positive life with a negative attitude and this proves it.
