Reflection While Reading #6
book was finished this is the last reflection
As we know Tim was a very competitive guy, while training for all the season he would never lose in a one on one competition in what one of the coaches referred to as Matt drills. During his university career they won many games and they made great friendships with each other. He also made a very well known name for himself, to the point where he would get many phone calls from fans of other school and from some people who were threatened by his talent and would try to scare him before he played their school. He suffered from a shoulder injury which he had to get surgery on as well as a knee problem, and a horrible concussion. Whenever he was injured though he wouldn't come off the field, he would simply fight through it and at the end of the game be in more pain than the initial moment that started it. His team and him would try for a perfect season ( zero losses) however when they would be so close there would be one game that through them off. He did however win the National Championship twice, once in 2006, and once in 2008. Overall his university career was an amazing one and when he could've left a year ahead to sign with the NFL he chose to stay for his senior year and his coach. His coach and him were extremely close, they would spend lunchs together during the season and would hang out every friday night. Tebow was part of the Meyer family to the point where he knew the kids, wife everyone and Coach Meyer was apart of the Tebow family, knowing all of them very well. God led him in many way throughout his years at UF as well. Praying before games, and for speedy recoveries and for tests and for the best for everyone he loved and so on. Tim started up a charity event to at the school raising a lot of money for a lot of different organizations. He was truly inspiring and a great role model to other students attending the university and those who watched him play on TV.
Reading this we see how much Tim did to change peoples lives. He was an extremely inspiring role model. The type of person who would put others needs before his own. He really did have a wonderful life and he would make the best out of every situation. He was very optimistic and nothing is more contagious then optimism. If you're around a person that is always happy all the time then chances are it'll rub off on you too, and you'll want to be around this person even more because he/she just makes you feel so great! I try to be that kind of person, and sometimes you just go through those days where you feel nothing will ever be the same and you won't be happy again. Its all how you look at it though, if you choose to have a bad day then you're going to see all the bad that happens in your day. However if you choose to have a good day and brush off anything that might be slightly upsetting then your day will turn out just that; a great day!
