Reflection While Reading #5

 The choice:

With over 80 schools to choose from and only 5 official visits Tim had a big decision to make. His parents spent a lot of time and money to go to a lot of schools on unofficial visits with his brothers usually. When it came down to making the decision he was stuck between two schools. The university of Florida and the University of Alabama. Both coaches he had grown close with through the recruiting process. However when it came time to make the decision it was very emotional because he really wanted to play for both teams and he didn't want to say no to one of the coaches. Coach Meyer (The coach at The university of Florida) sat on the 45th row at the field waiting for Tims call. However when Tim called him the coach's phone died. He then proceeded to stand infront of a rolling camera with thousands of people watching an announced that he would be signing with Coach Meyer and the University of Florida, believing that that was the place that God was leading him too. And in the end it proves to be the right decision

Having to choose between two things you truly want is a difficult task, in this case he couldn't sign with both and it would end up leading him to his future. Of course Tim would want to be on a team that had lots of potential as well, but when it came down to it he went with what he knew was right. I am currently in my grade 12 year in high school, and I too will have to choose which school I want to go to if I get accepted to more then one. That is a very hard decision to make, because your future is dependant on the time and money you spend at this school. Transferring schools can be easy but at the same time you'll be moving away from all the people you've been learning with and starting somewhere fresh too. New teachers, new classes new routines. Its bound to happen but chances are you want to complete a degree, certificate, whatever you're aiming for at one school, and picking that one school is a hard enough decision. So I'm sure by the end of this year I will know how Tim felt when having to choose. I just hope I make the right decision like he made.
